Church Founded
Monte Del Olivar Christian Center is established after Paula Arredondo, with the help of Evelyn Patterson, brings the vision of a church in Kyle to life.First Pastor
Paula Arredondo is anointed as the church’s first pastor and begins leading the congregation.text goes here -
New Leadership
Pastor Daniel Arredondo became Lead Pastor, faithfully leading the church into a new season of growth. -
New Campus
The church relocated from downtown Kyle to its current 15-acre campus, creating room for expanded ministries and future generations. -
Lead Pastor
Pastor Leticia Gutierrez became Lead Pastor and continues leading Monte Del Olivar Christian Center with a heart for discipleship, community, and sharing the Gospel. -

What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is true, trustworthy, and serves as the foundation for our faith, guiding how we live, worship, and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
God
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and is worthy of all honor, worship, and praise.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through His sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross, and victorious resurrection, He made the way for everyone to receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering us to live for Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, and use the gifts God has given us to serve others and build His Kingdom.
Prayer
We believe prayer is a vital part of the Christian life. Through prayer, we communicate with God, seek His wisdom, experience His peace, and grow closer to Him.
Water Baptism
We believe water baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. It is an act of obedience that publicly declares a believer's faith in Jesus Christ.
Communion
We believe Communion is a sacred remembrance of Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross. As believers share the bread and the cup, we proclaim His death, celebrate His resurrection, and look forward to His return.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, care for one another, and share the Gospel with the world. Every believer has a place and purpose within the Church.
Eternity
We believe every person will spend eternity with God or separated from Him. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers receive the promise of eternal life and the hope of living forever in His presence.
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Leticia Gutierrez

Pastor Leticia "Lettie" Gutierrez has faithfully served Monte Del Olivar Christian Center for more than 36 years. Since accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1989, she has devoted her life to serving God and helping others grow in their faith. In October 2020, she was prayerfully elected as Lead Pastor following the passing of Pastor Daniel Arredondo, continuing the church's rich legacy of biblical teaching, compassionate ministry, and community outreach.

Pastor Lettie's journey of faith began during a difficult season in her life when her marriage was on the verge of divorce. Through an invitation from her brother-in-law, she attended church and encountered the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. She gave her life to the Lord in February 1989, and from that moment forward, she has faithfully followed God's calling on her life.

Her experience has given her a heart for serving people in every stage of life while equipping believers to grow in their relationship with Christ.

God began shaping Pastor Lettie's ministry soon after she became a believer. She started serving in Children's Ministry in 1990, later expanding into Women's Ministry, teaching Bible classes, and participating in evangelism. In 2005, God opened doors for her to begin preaching both in San Marcos and at Monte Del Olivar Christian Center. Her lifelong desire has been to help people know Christ, grow spiritually, and live according to God's purpose.

Pastor Lettie's greatest passion is helping people develop a genuine, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She desires to see lives transformed by God's Word, believers grow into mature disciples, and families experience the hope, healing, and purpose found in Christ. Her prayer is that every person who walks through the doors of Monte Del Olivar Christian Center will encounter God's love and be encouraged to faithfully finish the race He has set before them.
